The She Said Project is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to achieve this goal.
Measures to support accessability
We take the following measures to ensure accessibility of columbia.shesaidproject.com:
Regularly testing our website with automated tools and manual review
Providing education to our content and design staff on accessible practices
Engaging accessibility programs for audits and improvements
Responding to feedback and making timely updates
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It describes three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA. The She Said Project is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content may not fully conform to the accessibility standard, but we are working toward full compliance.
